1. The service
Where our DVSA connection is active, we display available MOT test records and automated explanations. Live lookups may be temporarily unavailable. Fictional sample reports are clearly labelled and should never be treated as information about a real car.
2. Accuracy and limitations
MOT records describe test findings at particular times. They may contain missing or incorrect entries and cannot confirm the current condition of a car. A later pass does not prove a particular repair was completed. Our automated analysis cannot diagnose faults, quote repair costs or guarantee a vehicle's safety or suitability for purchase.
3. Checks not included
We do not provide stolen-vehicle, outstanding-finance, insurance write-off, accident-history or legal ownership checks. These require separate sources. We do not provide verified engine horsepower, acceleration or gearbox specifications in this version.
4. Responsible use
Do not misuse the service, scrape it at scale, attempt to bypass rate limits or disrupt other users. Use vehicle information lawfully and respect the privacy of others.
5. Availability and rights
The service is offered free of charge as available. We may change or suspend features, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. The operator should have these terms reviewed before a public commercial launch.
